As a Commission, we partake of the Feasts of the LORD as enumerated in Leviticus 23. In this chapter of the Book of Leviticus, these days are addressed as the APPOINTED TIMES of The Holy One, Blessed Be He. The word which is translated as “appointed times” is the Hebrew word “mo’adim מועדים”. It is from the parent root “ed עד” which means “testimony”. Based on the ancient pictographic representation of the letters of this word, ayin-dalet עד, it essentially means “see the door”. Thus, these appointed times are seasons in which the doors of the Heavens are opened for the children of God to meet and fellowship with God. Testimonies are the portion of whoever partakes of these meetings with The Holy One.
