Sections of the Church of the Living God today hold on to false dogmas by which they run this sacred institution of God, not prescribing and ascribing authority to the scriptures. This turns the hearts of sincere men over to fables and tales which have no roots nor are found in the word of God though propagated largely from sincere hearts as Christian truth. It is time to call for an examination, scrutiny and an acid test to ascertain if what we have propagated as gospel truth and foundational building blocks of our present faith is actually the case. Paul, the apostle, wrote and admonished the church in Thessalonica to Prove all things; (and) hold fast to that which is good. (1 Thessalonians 5:21). It is on this premise I am under inspiration to inspect such long-held beliefs of the Church, regardless of denominational credence, ministerial status or clerical investment. Is it true that all you need to do to be saved is to invite Jesus into your heart? Is the sinner required to repent from his sins or ask for forgiveness from God to be saved? Does God write your name in the book of life at your new birth? Moreover, is it true that if one has not said the popularly acclaimed “Sinner’s Prayer”, he is not born again? These are some of the questions I answer in this book. Reading it will shift your mind and settle you in the mind of Christ. Shalom!
